Plant Adaptations
There are many different adaptations that plants have.
Here are some examples-
small leaves help so that the tips will get heat faster from the center, and it wont freeze.
some plants only grow in the summer or spring seasons.
bushes sometimes hug the ground to stay warm.
some shrubs have a mounded cushion shape.
thick bark helps trees to stay unfroze.
staying close to the ground also helps plants and trees.
tubers help things like wild potatoes.
some leaves have short hairs on them, which gather water from the condensation in the air,
Animal Adaptations
Examples-
some animals stay in groups.
lots have thick, course fur.
many animals have padding on their feet.
some have unique blood types that adapt to less oxygen in the air.
animals like llamas use their cud to keep hydrated.
a round body helps the mountain goat keep warm.
color of fur helps camoflauge many animals from predators.
enlarged nasal cavities help with breathing in the high altitude.
